Full Day - The Piton Maido and West Coast

Admire a breathtaking view of Mafate, its' islets and the summits of La Reunion from 
Piton Maido.  A stop at the distillery of geranium where you will witness the highly 
complex process that turns the leaves of this plant in essence used to produce perfumes.

In the afternoon, continue for visit of the "Musee de Villele" in Saint-Gilles-Les-Hauts, 
which is a ancient colonial mansion.  This house situated in the heart of a large plantation
belonged to Desbassyns Villele and families until 1927.

A tour to the Chapel which Mme Desbassyns built in order to give the slaves religious
instruction and to offer a place of worship to the hill population.

Then continue to the "Craft Village" for shopping of souvenirs for those who so wish.
